AT ONCE 07:00
I mistook someone else for you Just like I always do Why should my eyes cover my mouth I don't know why I do Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once How do you be manage to be a rock In a tsunami, you're my only one Raw and unbridled, and if you have to Lead us out I know you could I wonder if the child was born What their name would be I hope they have no name I hope they don't have to go through that Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once I said I'd always be there for you Because it's the hope that gets us through Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once Don't fall apart all at once

HALFWAY 05:56
My eyes cover my mouth Inhale and spit out vapor No words could save us all It's too late to board that train now It's hard to hold you close When we are halfway faded It's slow and dark at night Cool smoke is somewhat lurking Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) My eyes cover my mouth Inhale and spit out vapor No words could save us all It's too late to board that train now It's hard to hold you close When we are halfway faded It's slow and dark at night Cool smoke is somewhat lurking Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this) Don't you walk away Don't you run astray (it's not always like this)

HEADFIRST 03:35
You're holding onto a ghost I felt it rising from the earth You're holding onto a ghost The dove that dove headfirst Nothing left to hide No tears left to cry I don't wanna hear you say It didn't have to be this way You're holding onto a ghost I felt it rising from the earth You're holding onto a ghost The dove that dove headfirst Knew it was over when I heard The battlefield of razor words Don't pretend it's still there I know the truth was your nightmare You're holding onto a ghost I felt it rising from the earth You're holding onto a ghost The dove that dove headfirst You're holding onto a ghost I felt it rising from the earth You're holding onto a ghost The dove that dove headfirst

Our voices reduced to screaming Can't remember who was counting You knew that I was dreaming You knew that I was dreaming Can you change a lying style Vacant buildings in denial You knew that I was dreaming You knew that I was dreaming Ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh You knew that I was dreaming You knew that I was dreaming Ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh
7.
Tired of the sound it makes when you leave Tired of the noise from the TV Tired of the blue cacophony Tired of the fallout of your screams Stuck to tracing all your old lines Visions of the same pasture lie Never truly got a feel for why You play the same old games that made you cry Tired of the sound it makes when you leave Tired of the noise from the TV Tired of the blue cacophony Tired of the fallout of your screams Waiting on the things you'll never know It couldn't be a lost cause Waiting on the words you never wrote Now they're just a vague hope Tired of the sound it makes when you leave Tired of the noise from the TV Tired of the blue cacophony Tired of the fallout of your screams Tired of the sound it makes when you leave Tired of the noise from the TV Tired of the blue cacophony Tired of the fallout of your screams

Gloomy sunday, this frozen city Last night's memories are cradled and hazing The haunting spectre that looms over me In these chains I'm restrained from ecstacy She gazes slowly, the frozen epiphany The gnawing feeling of vacancy It's freezing, am I breathing? It's freezing, am I still breathing? It's freezing, am I still breathing? Am I still breathing? Am I still breathing?

I wish I had known My moments with you Were coming to a close But now you are gone I wish I had said The things I say to The stone above your head But wishes don't come true anymore I whispered the words That I could not say The day I found out You had gone away I wrote you a poem And I brought you a flower If only you saw But now you're in the ground, forevermore

NEW YEAR 07:14
I'm not ready to get older I'm not ready to grow up I'm not ready to get older I'm not ready for the new year I'm not ready to get older I'm not ready for the new year

about

The third or fourth album from Central Pacific State Beach (formerly known as Infinite Vacation,) depending how you count it. I like to pretend Contemporary Experiences isn't an album and it's actually just a mixtape or something. For all intents and purposes, this is the third album.

The musical influences on this album skew a lot more goth, while the lyrical content surrounds themes of conflict, alienation, and anxiety.
